'Age will matter': Discriminatory employment agency settles case

An IT employment agency embroiled in an age discrimination lawsuit for rejecting a candidate because he was ‘born in 1945’ and ‘age will matter’, has agreed to settle the case.

New Jersey-based IT staffing firm, Diverse Lynx, will pay $50,000 (£36,000) to settle the lawsuit, brought by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) after it was found they violated the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA).
