Recruiters urged to prepare for new contractor tax rules

IR35 hit contractors hard last year and new reforms have the industry fearing for the worst. What could this ever-evolving piece of legislation mean to you and how can you prepare for the system change?

These amendments, announced in the October 2018 Budget, radically change the landscape of contracting and could affect up to 900,000 freelance companies in the UK. A survey by the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) shows that 91% of respondents have little to no awareness of the revisions coming into effect.
