60% of women consider gender pay gap when job hunting

Sixty-one per cent of women would consider an organisation’s gender pay gap when job hunting, a study by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has revealed.

The survey of 2,515 employees revealed that 58% of women would be less likely to recommend their employer to others if they had a substantial gender pay gap, while half of respondents said gender pay gaps would reduce their motivation and duty to their role. It is news that is likely to prick recruiter's ears.
