Agencies '15-hours a day' job adverts spark safety concerns

An investigation has uncovered recruitment firms that are offering dangerous shifts of ‘up to 15 hours a day plus weekends’ to work on the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR).

Construction News (CN) uncovered numerous adverts posted by agencies on social media sites for up to 80-hours per week jobs for 10-15 weeks. One called for wheeled excavator drivers, while another was seeking two 360 wheeled drivers.
