€25k rec competition aims to future-proof industry...

A unique competition to find innovative solutions for problems in the modern recruitment industry will see competitors fight for €25,000.

The third iteration of the MorpheusCup will, among other competitions, host a recruitment technologies challenge - where recruitment specialists Abalone will challenge entrants in a “Talent 4.0” project.

Backed by the European Commission, the MorpheusCup aims to bridge the gap between the current and future demands of the job market across Europe.

With entrants from graduate schools and universities across Europe, the competition will be run remotely. Prizes include network opportunities with employers and investors as well as equipment and sizeable endowments.

This year support also comes from European Commisioners Marianne Thyssen, from the Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility Department, and Carlos Moedas from the Research, Science and Innovation Department.

The Morpheus Cup and the Morpheus Prize are organized by Farvest, a marketing agency founded in June 2000.

The competition will take place in Belval, Luxembourg on April 28th.

Past jury members include Jelena Djokovic, Olivier Schlaack, Creative Director at Canal+ and Chanda Gonzales, Senior Director at Google Lunar XPrize.
